Getting started
Please contact us in person or by telephone or email with a short summary of what you are planning, so that we can support you in your efforts and provide you, if required, with sponsorship forms and other NOAH branded materials.
The how2fundraise.org website is an excellent starting point for ideas and details of some of the legal requirements you may have to abide by if you are organising your own event (e.g. laws on raffles, public liability, etc). Planning a sponsored event? Sponsorship can be a great way of raising funds and having some fun along the way.
Sponsorship Forms and Online Fundraising
NOAH is registered with the two most popular online fundraising websites JustGiving and Virgin Money Giving. We can also provide you with traditional paper sponsorship forms for off-line fundraising. Top Tips for Getting Sponsored
Here are our top tips for getting that sponsorship money in:
- Set yourself a target and make sure people know how much you are trying to raise
- Start with people you know - friends, family, neighbours, school friends, work colleagues
- Try to persuade the first few people who sponsor you to give a high amount - this sets the bar high and those that follow are more likely to pledge higher amounts too
