How To Help
Please click here for more information about Ivor Beamon's Lands End to John O'Groats Cycle Challenge.
There are many ways in which you can help NOAH, the main ones being:
Financially
As a local charity with low overheads we can promise to make every penny of your donation count. Here is how your donation could help our work:
- £15 provides a change of clothing for one person
- £20 feeds a person for a week
- £175 helps 20 people in finding accommodation, get benefits advice and budgeting
- £600 is the weekly cost to provide outreach support to 10 people
- £3,500 is the weekly cost of running the day room
Unlike many larger charities, the vast majority of NOAH's income is spent directly on our charitable activities:

- Charity Shop worker
- Receptionist
- Furniture Mover
- Driver
- White Goods Assistant
- Kitchen Assistant (weekends)
We are also particularly keen to hear from volunteers with good business skills.
Visit Our Staff & Volunteers page for information about current opportunities and an application form
Donating furniture, clothing and household items
Do you have unused furniture or clothing that you could donate for sale in NOAH's shops? We gratefully accept:
- Clothing and shoes
- Household and small electrical items
- Furniture
- Kitchen appliances
Donations of clothing, household and small electrical items can be taken to either The NOAH Shop at High Town, The Furniture Shop on Church Street or the Welfare Centre on Park Street.
Large donations can be taken to The Furniture Shop on Church Street and we offer a free collection service for furniture and appliances. Contact our Furniture Shop on 01582 484001 to arrange a collection or visit our contact page for maps and contact details for our other locations.
Our
