Volunteering

We need enthusiastic and reliable volunteers who are able to give a regular amount of their time - however small that may be! There are volunteering opportunities in almost all areas of NOAH's work including, but not limited to:

We are also particularly keen to hear from volunteers with good business skills.

Visit Our Staff & Volunteers page for information about current opportunities and an application form

Donating furniture, clothing and household items

Do you have unused furniture or clothing that you could donate for sale in NOAH's shops? We gratefully accept:

Donations of clothing, household and small electrical items can be taken to either The NOAH Shop at High Town, The Furniture Shop on Church Street or the Welfare Centre on Park Street.

Large donations can be taken to The Furniture Shop on Church Street and we offer a free collection service for furniture and appliances. Contact our Furniture Shop on 01582 484001 to arrange a collection or visit our contact page for maps and contact details for our other locations.

Our PDF document Shop Donation Check List (52 KB) contains further information about what we can accept.

All profits from our shops support our charitable works.
