Alleviating poverty, bringing hope

Our Home Improvements Programme provides trainees with the opportunity to gain on the job training and learn the kitchen fitting trade and general DIY skills. The programme seeks to support those who are looking for sustainable employment, with a chance to upskill, and path a long-term career in the trade industry.

The programme is led by Dan Earl, who has over 20 years’ experience in the kitchen fitting trade and who is the successful tutor of the NOAH Academy DIY Skills course.

Trainees complete a 6-month paid placement under the NOAH Home Improvements provision, assisting Dan to provide a high quality, reliable, and competitively priced kitchen fitting and handyperson service.

The trainees will also receive support and mentoring from The NOAH Academy Employment Team to help them prepare for self-employment, or with an industry employer.

Please note, we expect trainee applications to open at the start of 2023. You can register your interest in our programme by using the contact form above.

To apply, you must be 18+, unemployed, and have the right to work in the UK.
