Kylie Wins Frontline Leader Award

A huge congratulations to Kylie Rawlins from NOAH’s Outreach team who has won ‘The Frontline Leader Award – East of England’ at the Regional Great British Care Awards 2021.

The award ceremony took place in Birmingham on Thursday 20th October and Kylie will now go through to the national finals, to be held in March 2022.

Since moving into the Outreach Team Leader role, Kylie has led by example; compassionately, sensitively and expertly supporting vulnerable people off the streets.

The last 18 months have been particularly challenging for Kylie and her team. In December 2020, a female supported by NOAH who had been sleeping rough in Luton died, following a vicious assault. This was a very traumatic time for the Outreach Team and Kylie spent time with each of her team members, listening and talking to them and helping them process their individual grief.

She is a vital cog in the wheel of support for homeless people in Luton and every multi-agency partner continually taps into her knowledge and skill, in order to support others.

From everyone at NOAH, we wish you all the best in the finals.
